PIERCE TRANSIT FLOOD HAZARDS

This map represents potential flood hazards for the Pierce county transit line. The percentages correspond with a green to red color shade, with small numbers represented by green lines being less hazard, and larger numbers represented by red lines have higher percentage of flooding hazard.
The light red shade represents the areas around Pierce county that have flooding hazards.
By using an feature data set inside a geo database and clipping, dissolving, and joining data; a clear analysis has been formed.

This is the port of Tacoma. It contains mostly green transit lines, representing little to no flood hazard.

This is Gig Harbor and the Key Peninsula.. It contains mostly green transit lines, representing little to no flood hazard.

This is the Parkland area, South of Tacoma. It contains mostly green to yellow transit lines, representing low to medium flood hazard.

This is Bonney Lake. It contains green  and orange transit lines, representing little hazard to higher risk flood hazard.

This is University Place. It contains mostly red transit lines. This represents the most hazardous transit routes in the event of a flood.
